Do I need a referral to see a Podiatrist?
No referral is needed when wanting to attend our practice. You can simply book in for a consultation and we will see you at our next available appointment.
However, if your GP or any other health or allied health professional refers you to us, please send the paperwork to us via email before your appointment or bring it with you in person for your initial consultation with us.
What should I do if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Please call our friendly team on 08 6285 5093 to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please refer to our *cancellation policy* for more details.
Do I need to make an appointment in advance, or can I just walk in?
While we do accept walk-ins, it is dependent on our availability at that particular time. We recommend that you make an appointment in advance prior to the appointment date you are wanting.

Do you Bulk Bill?
We do not offer bulk-billing services on the Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan. Please note that patients with Medicare referrals have a gap payment as the consult is charged in full.
Consultation fees apply to all visits, and a Medicare claim can be processed with a CDM referral from your GP.
Can I claim Podiatry under Private Health Insurance?
You absolutely can, depending on the podiatry coverage offered by your private health fund. We accept all Private Health Insurance funds. It is best to check with your health fund for a more accurate quote, as the amount you can claim back for our services can vary depending on the health fund you’re with and your level of coverage.
We can process the claim for you on the day of your appointment using the HICAPS machine on site.
Do You Accept Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) Claims?
Yes, we do accept DVA claims. DVA Gold cardholders receive fully subsidized treatment. Please note that you must have a referral from your GP, and don’t forget to bring relevant paperwork to your initial consultation with us. Our admin/reception staff will lodge the claim directly to DVA once your consultation is completed.

What should I bring to my initial appointment?
Please bring your referral, if applicable, your private health insurance card, and any concession cards if applicable.
Also bring any previous medical imaging of your feet or legs, such as x-rays, ultrasounds, CT, MRI.
It’s a good idea to also bring your sports shoes (sneakers/runners) and any other shoes you regularly wear, as well as any insoles or orthotics you may already have.
Dress in comfortable clothes as we will be assessing your movement, if required.
Is the clinic wheelchair accessible?
Yes, the clinic has wheelchair access. There are also two ACROD parking bays a few meters from the clinic entrance.
How Often Do I Need to See a Podiatrist?
How often you see a podiatrist depends on your condition and severity. During your consultation, the podiatrist will inform you of the estimated time frame between each visit.
